Getting Started

Setting up copy trading with anumaan bot takes just a few minutes. Follow this guide to start automatically mirroring trades from successful traders.
1

Open Copy Trade Menu

Start by accessing the copy trade dashboard:
/copytrade
You’ll see the main copy trade menu with options to add wallets, view subscriptions, and manage settings.
2

Add a Wallet to Follow

Click “Add Wallet” button. You’ll be prompted to enter:Wallet Address:
Example: 0x1234...abcd
Enter the Polygon wallet address of the trader you want to copy. This is typically found:
  • In Insider alerts (successful traders featured)
  • On Polymarket leaderboards
  • From community recommendations
Look for traders with 70%+ win rates and consistent activity over 3+ months.
3

Set a Label

Give the wallet a memorable name:
Examples:
• "Whale Trader"
• "Politics Expert"
• "Sports Pro"
• "Conservative Trader"
This helps you identify traders at a glance when you have multiple subscriptions.
You can skip this step - the bot will use a default label like “Wallet 0x1234…”
4

Configure Settings

After adding the wallet, configure how trades are copied:Multiplier (required):
  • 0.1x - 0.5x: Very conservative
  • 1x: Match their dollar amounts
  • 1.5x - 3x: Amplify their trades
Copy Options:
  • Copy Buys: ✅ (recommended)
  • Copy Sells: ✅ (recommended)
Trade Limits:
  • Maximum Trade Size: Protect capital
  • Minimum Trade Size: Avoid tiny positions
Start with small multipliers (0.1x - 0.25x) until you verify the trader’s performance!
5

Activate Subscription

Once configured, the subscription is automatically active. The bot will now:
  • Monitor the trader’s wallet
  • Detect new positions
  • Execute scaled copies automatically
  • Notify you of each copy

Configuration Options Explained

Multiplier Setting

The multiplier determines how your trade size relates to theirs:
When to use: Testing new traders, limited capital
Their trade: $100
Your trade: $10 (0.1x)

Pros:
• Minimal risk
• Test strategy safely
• Affordable for small accounts

Cons:
• Small profits
• High number of trades needed
Multiplier Risk: Higher multipliers mean faster gains BUT also faster losses. A trader with a 20% loss becomes a 40% loss at 2x multiplier.

Copy Buys vs Copy Sells

Control which actions to mirror: Copy Buys (✅ Recommended):
  • Copies when they open new positions
  • Enter markets alongside the trader
  • Most common setting
Copy Sells (✅ Recommended):
  • Copies when they close positions
  • Exit at same time as trader
  • Helps lock in profits/cut losses
Common Configurations:
Both Enabled (Default):
• Copy Buys: ✅
• Copy Sells: ✅
→ Full automatic mirroring

Only Buys:
• Copy Buys: ✅
• Copy Sells: ❌
→ You control exits manually

Only Sells:
• Copy Buys: ❌
• Copy Sells: ✅
→ You enter manually, exit with them
Recommended: Enable both for true hands-off copy trading. This way you benefit from their entry AND exit timing.

Trade Size Limits

Protect yourself with min/max limits: Maximum Trade Size:
Purpose: Cap risk per trade

Examples:
• $50 max: Even if their 1x trade = $500
• $100 max: Conservative protection
• No limit: Trust fully (risky!)

Recommendation: Set to 5-10% of balance
Minimum Trade Size:
Purpose: Avoid tiny positions

Examples:
• $5 min: Skip trades under $5
• $10 min: More selective
• No min: Copy everything

Recommendation: $5-10 to avoid dust
Trade limits apply AFTER multiplier calculation. So a 200traderposition0.1x=200 trader position * 0.1x = 20, then checked against your $50 max.
